I recall when I was younger, I was eager to grow up to be an adult, for adult = freedom. And now that I'm one, somehow deep inside, I wish I could turn back time.
Well, the trouble with being a grown-up, is that I am always contantly reminded to act like one.
I yearn to retreat into my safety zone at the end of a long day and not care about anything in the world. I wish I could still make foolish, impulsive decisions and not give a shiat about the consequences that comes after.
Along this journey, more and more priorities are vying for my attention and focus.
And right now, I’m not too sure who or what I’m supposed to turn into.
